We had our house completely renovated. We did the removing of walls and restructuring the layout to create a new master suite with a sitting area and office space. The new open main floor for the kitchen and living + dining room is beautiful and the quality of the kitchen cabinets surpassed our expectations.
From the first meeting with Erle, we were impressed with his scoping of the project and his follow-up. Erle gave us a price which was certainly not the cheapest but we wanted an experienced team and Erle was confident he could deliver. We were not in a rush as there was a lot of planning required.
We packed up and moved out and the project started on the planned date. We met the power contractor team of TJ and Rob and were very impressed with the quality of their work and leadership. They were diligent, thorough and very fast. TJ and Rob are very hard workers and extremely responsive to our questions. They are very experienced and shared their knowledge/opinions with us so that we could make informed decisions. We can't say enough about our respect and appreciation for TJ and Rob
We did make changes to the original scope but they were our ideas and not because of anything missed in the original quote. In fact, Erle was very flexible when there was some items removed from the original quote when pricing the new work. Any issues were addressed immediately and courteously.
We needed help with the kitchen design and Andrea was very helpful and responsive. She guided us through the process and reviewed our selection of flooring and other materials. They provided us with a list of suppliers and we were able to use the company discount without any difficulty. We appreciated her expertise and advice throughout the process.
Even the billing process was smooth. Carey was professional and accommodating at all times.
In summary, we couldn't be happier with the service we received from Kilburn Development. The service we received was excellent from start to finish. The project was completed EARLIER than anticipated, we came out on budget, and our house looks amazing. We would not hesitate to recommend Kilburn Development
