Extremely polite crew. Worked like crazy, and didn't take a break. Crew boss Dom communicated with us constantly. They took great care packing, and did not spare the packing blankets. Thank you Dom, Ivan, Chuch, Julian and Artem.

A not typical -40 C Calgary move. Dom, Chuck, Ivan, Julia and Cash were amazing. Very large job and absolutely no damages. Hard working, courteous and efficient and it was a very large move Highly recommend

If I could give a double zero rating, I would! Sparta Movers is absolutely horrible to deal with. I had used them for a recent move from my home to a storage unit. The first problem - Angela, booked and scheduled a truck that was too small for my requested big move (even after I went over my listed items that needed to be moved prior). The second problem - the three movers (Skyler, Andrii and Brice) broke some of my personal belongings as it was being packed onto the truck over to my storage unit and didn't say one word to me! Even went ahead to tape the part they broke off of my elliptical machine. Next Problem - they have no idea how to properly pack items into a storage locker. As a result, other things of mine got damaged. The next problem was they hit my car with the moving trolley. Thankfully there was no damage to my vehicle.

When I called the claim department to speak with Fonda, about what happened, she told me "This is not how we do business" and that she would pass this along to the manager (Michael) for review. Well, I did not hear back from Fona or Michael. Fonda sent me an email saying that they wouldn't be issuing any kind of refund. So, I called back the same day. Nobody would return my calls. I called again. Spoke with Michael. He hung up on me. I called back again and asked to speak directly with the Owner of the Business, which is Slava. During our conversation, I found out that I was dishonest to me. I was told that Slava and Fonda had gone over my information along with the proof of photos from the damages. Turns out that Slava had no clue what I was talking about. Said that he didn't see my email with regards to the proof of photos that I emailed. Then tried to backtrack what he had said to me. So, I sent them again with him on the line. Only for Slava, to argue with me on the phone for 5 minutes to tell me that "the best I can offer you is a $150.00 refund for the damages". I was not impressed because now I'm at a loss. I pointed out that the total damage cost was $535.00.

Sparta Movers will advertise as a very professional company but my experience was far from professional. I've told everyone I know NOT to use them for this reason. Unfortunately, I spent $1663.00 for a horrible experience. Oh, and they also quoted me 3-4 hours max for my move with the 3 guys. It took them 8 hours. I strongly advise you to use another company and or do it yourself with some help of friends/family. Save the hassle if you care about your items.

Really happy with this move. Dom, Chuck and Andre were very professional and careful with my stuff and the houses. I was surprised at how many things were wrapped in blankets for protection - all my furniture yes, but also my guitar amp and A/C unit etc. They did disassemble and reassemble my bed and pack up my 65" TV. No issues there. I did also rent Ecoboxes and had almost everything packed in 2 sizes of those, which made it easier also. 100% recommend for sure.

Sparta Movers (Dom was the foreman) and their team were by far the best movers we've ever had for an in-province move. They were friendly and efficient and worked extremely hard.

This was a difficult move because of the age of our new house and the need to fit modern-sized furniture into a century home. Dom and his team worked tirelessly to make sure everything that could fit, did and best of all, did it with a smile. So polite and such diligent workmen!

I would certainly recommend Sparta Movers and Dom's group in
particular to anyone who asked.

Crew was 5 men..only 3 seemed to be working at any given time. Items put in wrong rooms..75 inch TV broken

Booking was easy and straightforward on their website and a staff member followed up with us shortly afterwards to confirm details.
On the day of our move, the team arrived promptly and got right to work.
Our move was completed efficiently and we didn't have to worry about a thing. I would definitely book with them again. I give Sparta my highest recommendation.

Movers arrived when they said they would with smiles on their faces; loaded, moved and unloaded our home contents and furniture expediently and professionally.

We had a great experience with Sparta Movers. They truly exceeded all our expectations from start to finish. An estimator (Artur) arrived at our house on time and after a quick walk around our house explained everything and comfortably answered all our questions... and we had a lot of them. We got quotes from other companies. Sparta was not the cheapest but was very reasonably priced... and trust us, you do not want to go with the cheapest movers (from our previous and first hand experience moving). On the moving day, a crew arrived on time and worked tirelessly until everything was moved in our new bungalow and put in places. We gave our movers tea, snacks throughout the move and, oh boy, they were happy and in our opinion worked twice as hard. )))

The perfect move! They were professional and did the work quickly and efficiently. We had a lot of boxes and furniture but despite this, they were able to do it all in 2 trips! Amazing work.
