Signs of a disaster to come, lack of communication,no paper work, no contract, we paid him he doesn't pay his sub trades so everything spirals down to a disaster and work doesn't get completed. We ended up hiring outside to finish the job and took the loss.

Had this company replace roof in Wallaceburg Ontario. These guys were very good. They cleaned their mess up. Hard workers. Would recommend them again.kept you informed as they went along. Any problems they called first. Well Done.

I got 5 quotes for re shingling our roof and new eaves troughs and in the end I choose First Class Renovations. The sales person Bryan was professional and walked me through the scope of the work and pricing in detail. In addition, he was able to answer any follow up questions I had after our first meeting to my satisfaction.
Every company quotes a little differently and after a detailed review of each quote I found First Class Renovations to be the most competitive pricing and great warranty

I hired Mike and his company from First class renovations or First class roofing (this depends on the day). We gave him the order on June 1, 2017. Its now December 6th and he has still not completed the roof. We have requested endless meetings to review all the errors, there is several. We have made 2 e transfers approximately $8,000.00, we have not received a single receipt or a true invoice. We have only been sent a text message saying received. Our original estimate included a complete roof renovation with 68 bundles of shingles and eaves troughs for $7000.00 plus HST. He is now trying to finalize the job for a cost of $13,056.52 plus HST. We have today had a call demanding final payment, i requested that he complete some of the errors and he told me that if i did not pay him he would have his men come and rip the shingle off of my roof. He was very intimidating and I am not sure if he will do it, he has said his contract allows him to. We have arranged a meeting for Monday to try and resolve these matters, but this is not the first meeting he has skipped. When I asked him for his WSIB, and warranty certificate he got upset and just kept demanding his money.

Please don't make the same mistake that I did.

DO NOT HIRE FIRST CLASS! Do yourself a HUGE favour and hire a real company. We hired Mike to paint our kitchen cabinets. He subcontracted it out and the painter was so unreliable and workmanship HORRIBLE!. Mike promised the cabinets are sprayed however, they are clearly hand painted with all the drip marks and fuzz from his rollers. I had to hunt him down with multiple phone calls and text just to find out if he was coming that day. He would assure us he would be there then 20 mins before come up with an excuse or just not show up at all. It took 3 weeks to get our cabinet doors back, only after I threatened to call the BBB and police to retrieve my property. The cabinets are so bad we have to have them repainted. The wood is showing in so many places and back sides hardly have one coat of paint. We already paid half the money and Mike is refusing to refund us. He doesn't care about the customers at all. Never picks up his phone and mail box always full. Always just texts back... "I'm in a meeting, Im at a conference, at a family event, with a client." The excuses are endless!!!! Not to mention his "office" address is an apartment building. We definitely learned our lesson not to trust shady small compaines that promise the world. I just hope people read this first and avoid the NIGHTMARE we encountered.

They were very unprofessional,messy, and amateur. They took double the time to finish. Didn't give me anything I asked for. Bought cheap materials, used tuck tape not electrical tape in light fixtures, didn't use mounting brackets for cheap glass light fixtures and held up with only one screw. They came whenever they felt like it, didn't work long, smoked in the basement, jointing compound is stuck everywhere. Kept asking for extra money, it all looks terrible.
I don't have a towel rod or toilet paper holder. Didn't use underlay between concrete and tile.
Didn't match tiles at all. Cut little pieced
instead of buying extra.
Threatened to sue me when I tried to fire them.
Use your equipment instead of bringing their own. Did not clean up much when finished.They ruined my summer.
