Edited review... so everything was good but when I had some deficiencies Steve went MIA. Luckily I had his installers number and managed to convince him to come and fix it. Too bad... I was happy with the work but customer service is an important part of the business.
Install quality 4/5 and customer service 2/5... still haven't heard back from Steve after 3 weeks.
After a long search and two failed attempts to get contractors to do my backsplash, I met Steve through Facebook marketplace, which I've never done before. I was a bit hesitant, but after reading reviews and getting a fair quote I decided to give it a try (the price was really good especially considering we live pretty far from Newmarket). Dwight was out installer, and honestly he was amazing. He has really good attention to detail and works quick and clean. There was one section that my wife wanted changed slightly and he fixed it with no complaints. Turns out the issue wasn't even really his fault, my counter tops were off slightly across the stove. The tiles haven't even been grouted yet but I'm giving them 10 stars. If you haven't been having any luck with contractors I highly recommend these guys.
