Carnaby

Avoid this builder. They claim to build luxury homes but you will end up with a 3rd world home. Contract agreements mean nothing to them. Builder will not return your calls or text messages. Your selection means nothing. You will be pressured into 'upgrades" that should have been included. There would be no receipt for these upgrades and if you don't agree with them, you forfeit the upgrades. As nightmarish as it comes. My rating is actually 1/10 only because the house was built though after over a year's delay which is uncommon in the London area

We have had things that needed to be completed on our house since April (mind you we moved in on march 1st and gave the builder time to finish the other houses on our road before bothering them). It is now September and we have had 4 no shows from them. The supervisor and crew are not very kind at all. They come, work and leave and if you sk about anything else they just say "I wasn't told to do that today." Our bathroom window has had mold since after a month of living here because they did not seal the frame properly (why they put a wood frame window in a shower is beyond me)- still not fixed and that's a hazard to our health. We just put a shower curtain over it and have been bleaching the sill to keep it from spreading. Our basement stairs are currently a hazard because the are sitting haphazardly on shims and we have gaps in the walls outside where the did not caulk around the a/c wires or other various pipes. We literally had a family of wasps get it. It's been a nightmare.

Horrible customer service. If you want your house to be halfway done by the time you move in this company is perfect. Months later after buying a home from carnaby im still waiting for touch ups to be done... for exmaples I have various walls that are half painted. It's pretty embarrasing having people over months after you moved in to tell them we are still waiting foe the house to be done even though we are living there. They also arent good with answering your calls or having inspections done prior to the house being sold. The gas company wants to shut off our gas because the builder didnt have an inspection done properly.
