We have been using Clivia Lawn Care Services since we moved into our new house in Richmond Hill over 24 years ago.
Sam the owner of the landscaping company was always accommodating and straightforward.
With Clivia Lawn Care help, I managed to keep one of the most beautiful front lawns in the neighbourhood.
I highly recommend this company.

This is the second year that Clivia has damaged my lawn while snow ploughing. When reached, 'Sam' was very rude and claimed this always happens. To the point he cut the phone call. They refuse to fix it and we are supposed to figure it out.

I have been using Clivia for snow removal for several years and I am very happy with them. For me it is not a matter of "when" they clean my driveway, but "if" they clean it with every snow fall, and they definitely do, even if it snows every day. I have read some negative reviews below and I simply don't get it. My experience with them is great.

He made promises at the beginning of our relationship that he would cut our grass 4x per month. The days changed, the weeks changed, he was very aggressive and argumentative on the phone every time we tried to call and discuss our lawn care needs. He was never accommodating and his customer service skills lacked (he would not return text message, yelled on the phone, hung up the phone). It wasn't until a few weeks ago, that we called him to ask him if he was coming to cut our grass. His response was "NO, I don't want to deal with you, we won't cut your grass anymore." Without a conversation or warning, we weren't asking anything unreasonable, just wanted to know when he was coming so we could plan.

I would NOT recommend this business to anyone.
The Owner is not a credible, he is privileged, disingenuous, aggressive and not trustworthy. I recommend buying a lawn mower and cutting the grass yourself before giving the Owner a dollar of your money.

I have been using their services for the last 5 years. They have always been prompt and are courteous. In case of any issues regarding the service, they respond immediately. I would recommend them.

I have tried several different lawn care services in the past with little success. I have now switched to CLIVIA, and have enjoyed a well maintained, weed-free lawn for the past 10 years. They provide great advice for care and maintenance. They have also proven to be very consistent and reliable. CLIVIA goes above and beyond ordinary lawn care, and I have already recommended CLIVIA to my friends and family. The consensus is that CLIVIA provides top tier professional lawn care service, and is considered a sound investment in preserving the value of your property.

BEWARE and stay away from Clivia Lawn Care and it's owner Sam Ma. He's a cunning and dishonest sales man that does not deliver on what his company promises. Initially you agree to his lawn care seasonal package, which includes, fertilizing, weed control and insect control from the months of April to October. Sam tells you his staff will make a visit 4 times a month to maintain your lawn, but they don't show up at all. They showed up for maybe 2 minutes, sprinkled the fertilizer and never showed up for the next two months. How can you charge your customers when your company does not perform any of the work that was outlined and agreed upon. I unfortunately recommended them to a family member who also displeased with their services and regret ever hiring them to begin with. Sam's customer service is horrible, he will demand all the money when the work is not done. My lawn has not improved and weed is still growing rampant. I felt robbed and completely taken advantage by Clivia Lawn Care.
