Review of work done by Hand-e-workz

I hired Hand-e-Workz to replace my front deck. I was happy with the results. I then asked the contractor, Ryan, for a quote to replace a small 4ft x 3ft 9in side deck. We had agreed that the underlying support structure was sound and it should stay. The results of the side deck replacement are as follows: Due to a misunderstanding (not sure between who) the old skirting with small door was not replaced. The railing was out of alignment by 1.5in and was screwed/nailed onto an existing piece of rotting stringer despite having brought the rot to Ryans attention before the job was started. The rotting piece was covered up with a piece of fresh cedar. On completion of the initial attempt Ryan admitted that the job had issues. He said he would have the whole thing redone. The redo resulted in some of the previously agreed upon sound support structure being hacked out to accommodate an inappropriately constructed door (24in x 36in and inexplicably 5in thick). There are numerous nails and screws exposed in places that could easily catch a body part or piece of clothing. We are very disappointed in the side deck.
