The Lawn King

Mum, who is 87 was quoted $60 for a lawn cut and clean up if she bought a season's package but $80 for the first cut on its own. They showed up during the rain so they flattened the lawn instead of cut it. Yes they did the edge trimming but left all of the grass trimmings all over the concrete walkways and stairs for us to clean up. When I asked the gentleman sitting in the truck watching the other 2 labourers work, about the overcharge ( verage is $50-$55/cut for the same size area), his reply was that it costs people at least $40 per cut when they cut the lawn themselves. I was left stunned at the "logic".
