Metropolitan Movers

This is my first negative review I have had to write unfortunately so here it goes.. Not only did I hire and use Metropolitan movers twice, but I received a promotion in July to celebrate Canada 150 that I would receive $75 off my next move. Fast forward to my next move and not only did they not honour it, they said "you can go somewhere else if you would like". It's completely disrespectful and bad form. If they want to keep your customers happy, especially during this time of COVID 19, they should at least honour promotions or want to keep existing customers. It's very unfortunate.

We used Metropolitan movers for 2 moves with my son’s family. His move from one home in Toronto to another went smoothly and his 2 movers were quick and careful. Our move, from Orangeville to Toronto was very stressful. Furniture was not wrapped so there was damage. Walls and a door were damaged when our 3 movers forced furniture without it being manoeuvred properly. Our move also took 12 hours. Despite noting the damage on the invoice, a few phone calls and numerous emails, we have received no compensation for the damage after waiting 6 weeks. We were told in one email that the matter was forwarded to the franchise owner and we would hear back in 10-14 days. Metropolitan Movers need to hold its franchise owners to account if it wants to uphold its rating.

I'd like to thank Vitali, Nikita and Vlad for their great work! They helped us move to a new home from an apartment and the guys were very professional helping us wrap up vulnerable items, moved in carefully, and no damage was done. They were friendly and courteous. Will recommend to others.

Unprofessional, unreliable and rude. Had worst experience with metropolitan movers, especial with manager Ajmal and his crew. No understanding how thr things should be done. Absolutely unprofessional customer service who doesn't care about the reputation of the company. Damaged my property, some pieces of furniture, did a serious damage on the property of my neighbour across the street and refuse to compensate and cover expenses for my nieghbour. Never use them.

I had 2 amazing guys!!!! So professional and knowledgeable, very careful with my stuff, everything was packed and wrapped properly and fast too! They disassembled and reassembled some of my furniture very professionally and with care. They had to take apart my stacked Miele washer/dryer and put it back after the move, which was quite complicated. I was surprised to see how much knowledge these guys have!

Horriable movers ....do not ever use them. Took them over 16 hours to move us.....extra fees and lots of broken items. After numerous phone calls to owner and to the company ...no call back ....just horriable !!!!!! Beware do not use !!!

The 2 men were on time, moved along quickly and made the move flow easily. I would recommend them.

We met Metropolitan Movers 2 years ago when a client was utilizing their services. We were so impressed with their work that we took a card and although we didn't plan on moving anytime soon we knew if we ever did we'd contact them.

Due to a very hectic schedule we contacted them only days before our move date and they graciously accommodated us. Fast, courteous, professional service ~ with a smile.

Highly recommend to anyone in need of movers! Wouldn't use anyone else.

Pricing was completely reasonable and worth every penny for the speed in which they moved us and the ease of stress on us by knowing we were in such capable hands.

Chris, Chris and Leon did a great job. They showed up on time and quickly packed up the truck. Once at the new place, again they quickly unloaded everything and went on their way. This was a very last minute move with short notice but Metropolitan came through for us. We were so happy that it all went so smoothly. Before the date came we had confirmation calls and then calls when the guys were on their way so they kept us in the loop at every step.
Again folks, great job and thanks for a very painless move especially in that humid weather.
