replacement of kitchen faucet and garborator

The Gentlemen Plumbers came out to our high rise in Calgary to give us a quote on replacing a kitchen faucet and a garburator. We had specific name brand items we wanted them to order and install. First of all it costs $70.00 just to let them in.
Frank was a nice guy, found out later that Frank was an apprentice. He looked things over and a few days later I got the quote. I knew the price of the parts as I had them installed in another home in the USA.
The quote was a grand total of $2515.55. The costs of the parts which I have just purchased was $1288.00 . That left 1227.55 for labour. I said wow really. I called many times it took 5 days for a return call. I asked them to have a manager call me. No Calls. TheN on day 5 Frank the apprentice called me. I asked how long would it take to replace these two items. He said should be an hour. I replied so you charge $1227.55 an hour. He said yes that is the quote and the reason is " we offer one year warranty on parts and labour" and he went on on how the cost covers their overheads. Really I said. I asked what is your hourly rate , he state $275 per hour. And that's for an apprentice plumber without a ticket. Again I stated I will pay the hourly rate which is probably the highest in this business and come on lets be fair. No such luck the quote is what the cost is. I asked him to have a manager call me, no call. I Phoned the company again and stated my concerns, again no call back.
Do not use this company they are not who they say they are. They will rip you off especially if you have no experience in dealing with plumbing fixtures. Something tells me they saw an older couple with a few dollars that could easily be fooled with a quote that is not broken down with parts and labour.
They did not even specify the parts and model numbers in the quote. Plus they quoted a Garburator that was discontinued.
