Being a Toronto based company - and being that Toronto is an older city - we at MMR have a lot of experience working to restore old GTA homes. Because of their age, the homes require specialized knowledge that you only truly acquire after years experience of renovating them. While there may not be the fondness of memories sanding layers upon layers on the stairs in order to restore them - hahaha - the end was result was all worth it. The stairs turned out beautiful and it was a great experience being able to work on a home with the history this one had. Thank you for feedback - it greatly appreciated.

Let's be honest - we all want to save money. It is so nice when there is a certain project around the house that you tackle on the weekend, finish it off, save money, and feel satisfied for a job well done...On the flip side sometimes DIY projects can go the other way and very quickly become overwhelming. We are more than happy to step in and lift some of that burden off your shoulders. Life is crazy and hectic enough, without the added stress of having your house torn apart in renovation. We were grateful for the opportunity to help and are excited to be involved in any of your future renovations.

We are so happy to hear that you love your home. Your home is where you spend most of your time and if we can help to make it a space that you love - THAT'S when we feel like we've really done our job right. The type of Wainscoting used here is a very cost effective method to class up a space without breaking the bank. The panel trim moulding and chair rail moulding is simply applied right on top of drywall rather than having to spend the time and material to build out the whole lower wall with 3/4" material. This largely cuts down on the overall cost while still giving the same visual effect. We are so glad you enjoy the space!

This was seriously one of my favorite projects to take on yet because I have always loved the way a cozy/elegant library unit makes a home feel. When Janet described what she wanted to do - it became an exciting process to take the concept and see it translated into reality. Janet's renovation was also a collaboration between our construction/renovation side of the business with the newer cabintry/millwork side of our company.
