Had a really bad experience with this store.
I had a ECOVAC N8 that stopped working in April 2024. I sent it to Superior Vacuums Kengsinton road branch for repair because the google review on this store is 4.7. Initially, they told me it was water damage to PCB board, so some repair job is needed for electronics. I gave them to consent to repair and fix it. The nightmare begins from there.
After a few days, they called me saying it is OK to pick it up so I did. After only one day, the robot stopped working at my home. I was really disappointed and sent it back for reassessment and they said would call me back the next day. After waiting for 3 working days without any further information, I called them back and was told that because we did not send the charging dock they cannot do further work. I was really upset because if they knew the charging dock was missing, why did not they call me back and let me know about that? Instead, I have to wait for several days. Not happy with the slow response but I sent the charging dock to them anyway. After a few days, they told me it is OK now so I picked it up on May 29th. The robot only works at my home for one day, then on May 31th, the robot stopped working again, as can be seen from video. Me and my wife went to the store with the robot explaining what happened and requested a refund because we had enough. The staff refused to do so. In order to find excuse for the failed repair, the staff showed me the repair log on the computer. To my surprise, the log clearly indicated that no PCB repair was performed, only cleaning and tunning was done on my robot. This explained why this intermittent problem still persists because the electronics fault on the PCB board was never done!
For this repair, I went to the store 3 times, my wife went there 2 times. Total waste of time: more than 5 hour man power. Result: the robot only works for 2 days and stopped working 2 times within 30 days.
Eventually the staff was so rude that we were told just to leave the store.
