Hey Claudio and Tamara....thank you for hiring us to do your brick repairs. We had some challenges along the way with the armour stone retaining wall being so close to the wall we needed to repair but we worked around it and got the job done. When we repaired the closure for the fireplace we were attacked by biting ants! Soooooo many ants....we evicted them and sealed around the gas line where they were getting in. We took the right safety precautions and braced wall before we dismantled it. We managed to save and clean all the brick because that brick is not available anymore. Hi Wayde thank you for hiring us to rebuild you chimney. As you know it was quite a challenge to remove the existing deteriorating brick on your fireplace. I have rebuilt a lot of fireplaces but I think this ranks up there with one of the worst. In saying that after we got it removed it was just a matter of what we would replace it with. The stone we picked turned out to be the right choice and you can not tell that it is not original to the house....so mission accomplished. I know that we had discussed doing the walkway in the spring so if you want to go ahead with that lets us know and we will be happy to help you with that.
