Front, side and backyard patio and fence
Eddie was great to work with right from beginning to end:
Design/vision phase: Eddie takes the time to listen to and understand the vision you have for your project, and provides guidance and recommendations based on his experience if you have any questions about how you might go about your project.
Estimation: Eddie was the only contractor that itemized the work to be done, including any demolition.
Project execution: The Green Scene team were really hard working, professional, and polite. They always showed up on time (for them, this was 7am) and ensured sufficient progress was made along the way to meet the agreed upon schedule. They also made a point to clean up throughout and at the end of each and every day.
Check-ins: Eddie was accessible as the projects progressed, and checked in with us to ensure we were satisfied with how things were going.
Project sign-off: Although we were in contact throughout the project, Eddie made a point of walking through the project at the end with us to ensure everything was to our satisfaction (and it definitely was!)
Warranty: One of the main reasons we selected Eddie was that he offered a 5 year warranty compared to most other landscaper warranties of 24 months. After having a bad experience with a landscaper years before, it was really important to work with someone who would stand behind their work because they ensure the materials and workmanship are top notch.
In addition to standing by their work by providing a 5 year warranty, they really do pay attention to little details. In the first project, for example, they were doing a rounded walkway. Rather than filling in the rounded part with square blocks and then padding it with screening, they actually cut the pavers in a beautifully curved design. Another detail they did (which was different from my first landscaper experience) was for the trim around our window wells. Rather than taking a short cut of having perpendicular pieces of stone, they mitred the corners to give it a really classy look. Although these may not sound like much, it's little details like this that are really indicative of the care they put into the work they do. The other main quality driver is the way they prep the base for any paver (interlocking) stone work they do.

Thank you very much for the review Kim. The third project was just as easy to work with you on as the first two. And we look forward to any more. Always a pleasure to work with such a wonderful client whom we can now call a friend!
