416 Contracting is not recommended for following reasons:
1- The contractor took our deposit to start the engineering work and disappeared. He ignored our calls and massage us that we will talk later but never called back. He's communication is very poor with us since he got the deposit. He believes $2000 in $70000 job is noting.
3- He do not provide honest quote. He adds on hidden cost such as time cost for the time he was trying to get a contract or finding sample to show which is totally free by all contractors.
2- He is unreliable person. He never shows up on the date that he supposed to start the work. Also, he never let us know in advance if he canceled a meeting. He did not provide the proper quote and keep asking for deposit to do that which he never done.
3- He provides fake information. He provided us fake references and forced them to speak highly of him or else he would not complete their projects.
4- He refused to show his WSIB, insurance, company’s registration and a proper contract. He was talking to give a contract with pictures and details of the job scope and finishes which is never provided.
5- He is dishonest. He provides a fake address on his receipt and contract. The address that he claimed is his house is not exist.
