This company was recommended to me and now I should say that I can recommend it too. I had a rotten roof so asked the guys to change it and they did it just perfect. Very customer oriented company!

From start to finish, Derek & his crew @ Accountable Roofing were professional, friendly, courteous, and amazingly clean. Overall, I was thrilled at the extra care taken with the little things. Little things that I didn't know were a thing! Derek took the time to explain and show us all the extras that his crew provided. The overall clean up around our yard once the job was complete was amazing. They picked up, swept up, brought out the blower and ensured there were no nails or sharp objects left where a car tire would be. I would recommend Accountable Roofing for their friendly service, professionalism, clean up and price - well worth it. Thanks for all your hard work Derek & Crew - our roof looks amazing!

Everything this company represents reminds us of how things used to be done: well organized and timed, and perfectly executed. Derek, the company’s owner, is an exceptionally knowledgeable and hands on individual who is always checking, correcting and supervising his crew throughout the entire project. He has the initiative, and goes out of his way to make sure everything is properly installed and functioning well. His attention to detail is impressive.. He often came twice a day to make sure the project proceeded without a hitch.
We were given a specific schedule beforehand, and told how things would be done, and what to expect and when. The first day (Monday), the crew arrived and placed protective barriers, so that no trees or plants would get damaged. All the roofing materials and the waste bin were delivered soon after, and the workers proceeded to remove the old shingles. Most of the work was completed on Thursday. The roofing crew worked incredibly hard, not even taking afternoon breaks on some days despite extremely hot weather. On Friday, Derek spent several hours doing some finishing touches, and making sure all the debris, including nails was picked.
We have nothing but great praise and admiration for this company and are very satisfied and impressed with its workmanship, and its personal touch approach to doing things. We also liked how we were always informed about arising issues, so we felt confident that the project would get completed perfectly well.

Derek is probably the most customer service oriented construction specialist I have encountered in many years! On two occasions, we have called him to do emergency repair work on our sunroom roof, and he showed up within hours and fixed the problems right away — even though the glass roofs in question had been done, not by him, but by another company that didn’t stand behind its work! Because Derek did an exceptional job replacing our cedar roof last year, we knew we could count on him to do a fine job again, and we are grateful for his quick response and thorough repair job. In the rain. By himself. And at a rate that can only be called highly competitive.

Arrives on day and time planned. Makes all arrangements for staff parking and bin placement. Gets along well with residents and tenants. Work in progress and clean up when done is all meticulous. Owner has very engaging and polite personality. His staff are outgoing, friendly and helpful. Very understanding when I accidentally bounced his payment cheque. Written on wrong account. Accommodated a start date change very amicably. Would recommend anytime for a project this size and possibly larger. Workmanship appears to be excellent and found problems on first look at time of quote that others missed.

Derek was very fast to respond from my initial request. Came in when it was convenient for me to give a free estimate. Took a lot of pictures to show problem areas and was very thorough. He was able to come the next day to do the job. Very professional from the beginning. Happy with the price and work done. Would highly recommend and will be using Accountable roofing for any future roofing.

We needed repairs done and really wanted to make sure it was done by a professional. We were given a very reasonable price for the work and were so happy with the way it turned out. Our house looks amazing! The owner was so professional and took extra care to clean. Would highly recommend.

Derek was recommended by a Renovation Contractor as we STILL had a leak on the inside walls around our fireplaces stemming from the roof area after another company “fixed” the problem. A couple of weeks ago, he came over the next day after our call. He went “above and beyond” even crawled the length of the attic to the chimney area only to discover the problem was not the roof leaking but rather...the fireplace venting stacks were not sealed properly. After this was fixed, On his way off the roof, he spotted something else that was not right and fixed a tear in the roof flashing! He didn’t leave until he felt the issue was solved.
Also while on the roof, he advised only 4 vents had been installed instead of 7 that should have been based on the size of the roof! (Our house is almost 20 years old) So Derek was back again yesterday and installed three additional “solar” vents that we felt would be a better at getting rid of the excess heat in the attic!
Derek was here when he said he would be, he is very personable and honest, stayed late to ensure the job was done right and we would highly recommend him to anyone who needs Roofing assistance! Thank you!

Called Derick to check an ongoing Roof Leak . He came by the same Day ,
I had others checking the problem,but still had problems. Derick found two of the Plumbing stacks Damaged . He replaced one late in the evening and came back to repair the other. That problem Solved He offered to check another ongoing leak . Again he quickly found the problem . Leaking Window and structure below. Not something he does,
but took the time to have a look. Fixed a loose Soffit as well. I found him
easy to deal with ,on time ,and dealt with the problem in a professional manner. I would recommend Derick for any of your roofing needs. Thanks Derick.

Derek from Accountable Roofing fixed a leak in my roof recently and did a great job. He was very thorough and friendly. He went above the board and fixed a vent cap and cleaned the moss from the skylights too. Highly recommended.
