Cal Can Plumbing And Heating

I had some renovation work done in my basement and I requested a quote from Cal-Can Plumbing & Heating to attend to a long list of plumbing requirements which follows below. First, I was blown away by the call I received, right away, from Ed with Cal-Can Plumbing. He was responding to the quote request I placed on HomeStars. Even though it was Saturday afternoon, Ed was able to schedule a home visit quote for the following Monday morning. The quote was emailed to me that same Monday afternoon and was most competitive, so I hired Cal-Can Plumbing. Visit 1 of 2 work visits was scheduled for the next day, Tuesday morning, so no waiting. Next, I was blown away when a team of 3 plumbers showed up, en masse. This really sped things up. A second visit was required after my contractor finished up the tiling to allow for the finishing plumbing to be completed; one plumber attended to that work. Plumbers, Adam and James, and Helper, Melkie, were PROFICIENT in their work, COURTEOUS AND THOUGHTFUL (removing their shoes multiple times over, without being asked), HELPFUL (assisting my contractor), and DOWN-TO-EARTH NICE GUYS! And, they did more than was asked and priced in the quote, and they did not bill extra. Like others have said in their reviews, Cal-Can Plumbing went way above and beyond - SO VERY IMPRESSIVE!!! I will have them back, and I would highly recommend them to anyone and have!

My To-Do List included: (1) re-do existing plumbing/re-run the lines and install double sinks and faucets - this involved correcting the work done by a previous contractor, who was not a plumber but claimed his work would be up to code and better (it was not, plus no venting had been added which is crucial in a basement); (2) install lines, venting, drain, and faucet for a second hand wet bar sink; (3) install shower drain, valve and shower head in new shower; (4) swap out an old laundry room sink faucet for a newer one; (5) adjust a toilet that had just been installed by a different licensed plumber, who had not bothered to install the toilet level!
