Synergy Basements

We had our basement finished by Synergy Basements, overall we are pleased with the final result and are happy we chose Synergy. Initially the project was scheduled to be finished within 4 weeks, however it was completed in 5 weeks. So other than the 1 week delay, there were no major issues. We had a couple small hiccups with the electrician, it was mostly a communication issue between our project manager (Rick) and there electrician. We had 18 pot lights included in our contract, but only 16 were installed. We were credited with the pot lights that were not installed, however I would have liked a pot light in my bathroom shower that was forgotten about. Rick has assured me tho that the pot light will be installed and they have plans to be back in here on monday to add that pot light I want, and without an additional charge.

The overall finishings are great, all of the tradespeople that were in and out were very professional and clean. I can't remember the name of the type of drywall we used, but it is completely moisture and mold resistant. Every other company we had in for a quote were charging about 5-8 thousand dollars more for this product. Synergy has a promotion going on right now, you get their premium electrical package for the price of their standard package. Their premium package includes smart lighting control. so all of our lights can be controlled from our phone or tablet, the premium package includes 4 dimmer switches and all lights to be upgraded to LED as well, so that was a nice little extra bonus on the basement.

I had my basement renovated by Synergy. They were about a week past their deadline, but that was in part due to the changes I had made after they had closed the walls. I finished my basement with magnesium board, which is an alternative to drywall and is fireproof water and mold proof. The basement looks absolutely stunning and I wpuld highly recommend Synergy to anyone. Eric was extremely understanding of all of my changes and accomidated all of my changes. Extremely friendly and kind to work with. People have all of these horror stories, but I assure you, with synergy you will only have gpod things to say!

A family friend had recommended Synergy Basements to me in January, I finally got a quote from them in March. Eric (the contractor) cam and measured my basement and he had a quote prepared for me in less than 24 hrs. He came over the following day and I signed the ckntract, they started 2 days after signing. The time fram given was 4-6 weeks and Eric and his crew were in and out in 32 days exactly. Everyone on the team was very professional and were cleab with theirbwork. I had a ton of specific requests and they met every single one of them. All in all I am EXTREMELY happy with my basement, and after hearing all the horror stories from friends about contractors, I can assure you Eric is one of the best guys I've dealt with. Extremely kind fair and honest. They live up to their slogan of "built with integrity". 100% recommend them to anyone considering a basement renovation!

A friend of mine in Maple had their basement finished in October 2015 by Synergy Basements. I had asked them to give me the companies phone number after I saw how beautifully done their basement was. I called Eric from Synergy Basements at the end of February, he was very accommodating of my schedule and came to give me a free quote on a Saturday evening. After meeting with Eric it helped solidify my decision to go with them, as he was very helpful and kind and was not pressuring me at all (in fact he gave me tips of what I should do even if I decided to go with another company). Eric and his team started my basement on March 3rd 2016 and were done on the 29th (2 days ahead of schedule). I must say, my basement looks amazing! My wife was very particular with the kitchen and I was very specific with my needs for our theater area. He was so patient and accommodating of all our needs. Best of all our project was right on budget of exactly what he quoted us. At first he had told us to keep a 2000$ emergency retainer just in case of any major changes that needed to be made after the fact (which made me kind of nervous), but in the end we never needed to use it, I think he was just trying to let us know that unexpected costs could arise if we needed to make a big change after the team had already completed the work. All in all I am EXTREMELY satisfied, we actually entertain our guest in our basement more than we do upstairs now because of how beautiful it looks. Another thing is the Eric really has an eye for design and gives some really helpful tips. I 100% recommend Synergy Basements to anyone who is considering a basement renovation!
