We hired JJR Construction to expose our foundation/ footing for a structural engineer's report to get a building permit. He was fast and efficient. Great communication and very responsive. Highly recommended!

Julian and his crew did a wonderful job tuck pointing a very large three story wall. I was impressed from the beginning, when he showed up on time for appointments, was courteous and professional, and was clear about costs and time involved. I had particular needs since I work from home, and clients had to pass through the work area. Julian managed this very well with minimal disruption. He and the crew were also very sensitive to neighbours. The quality of the work was excellent, and the clean up was beyond my expectations. I can recommend Julian without reservation.

We got A LOT of quotes, and most came in around the same price. The difference is in what JJR provided. Most companies just offered to rip out the existing steps, then put in new ones overtop. Having just purchased the home and seeing a sag, I knew it was the stairs foundation, and JJR was the 1 of two companies to see that as well.

The poured Sona tubes, added a rebar base, regraded, and then finished it off with flagstone. They worked with us on design ideas to ensure the finished product was perfect and to be honest their workmanship is second to none. They REALLY REALLY take pride in their work.

The side of the house was changed from interlocking stone with drainage issues to a elevated regraded cement walkway with a curb. Concrete steps were added to replace builder block steps, and they were done with a proper foundation as well.

What impressed me the most was the constant feedback, and professionalism. Constant communication, constant desire for feedback and on schedule. The solutions we had offered to us from others we all less work, and similar cost, but would NOT have solved the problems...

Our main contact Julian is aware of what it takes to have repeat business and we 100% will be using them again.

Joe the main contractor knows all the tricks in the trade and is SUPER friendly to boot.

Get 3-5 quotes and see the difference yourself, but I highly recommend choosing JJR. Professional, honest, hard working, and get it done right... Not the cheapest but the difference is insignificant given the quality of workmanship/solution they will provide.

They are one of our best contractors we have hired while they were doing the veneer work residents and people in the neighbour asked for their contact information they were so pleased with their workmanship, professional approach when people stopped to ask questions. They were always on time and willing to accommodate any requests we had it’s great trait when a contractor works with the client. Just an over all amazing group of professionals to work with. As for the actual work beautiful finished product, long lasting, each piece of veneer was thought out in a way that would give the end finish the best look possible and boy they did great we still get compliments on the job. We are so pleased with them that we have more work for them to come back and do. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

Julian and his father Joe were amazing from the start . From our first meeting with them my wife and I were convinced that JJR were the right guys for the job at our home. They stand behind their work and guarantee their workmanship Old school. Just with a hand shake, thats what i like about them... they are honest, hardworking and trustworthy. We need more people like them....I highly recommend them....just give them a call...you'll see for yourself.

They did a great job. Start to finish was about 4 days. They cleaned up after themselves and left the jobsite with a broom clean. I am very happy.

They replaced the bottom two steps which were badly cracked. Then they refinished the entire veranda seamlessly. Excellent workmanship.

Julian and his dad recently completed some brick work on the third floor deck of my townhome. They removed and replaced a section of brick that was crumbling, as well as repairing some joints and detached coping. From my first contact with them, they have been a pleasure to work with. They took the time to thoroughly explain everything, and always replied promptly to my messages. The entire process, from getting a quote, to scheduling and completing the work was quick. They even completed the work in half the time estimated. I would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future.
