True North exteriors came to do my garage. It was a brand new garage and needed a ridge vent and shingles done. Even if it was a small garage ( 14x29’) they came with all the right equipment ( I’ve done roofing before so I knew what they were using and doing), fast and efficient! I was amazed by how quick they got it done!

Had True North Install 3 intake vents for our attic. Did the job on time, and at an amazing price. Had Mike and a couple of his guys back today as I had a concern about one of the vents (my problem, not theirs!), they pulled the whole thing out, replaced, and checked it over, assuring me it was good as gold. That is customer service - "if you are concerned, we will take care of it for you so you have no concerns". Thanks Mike and True North. I will be reaching out to you when the time comes for my new roof!

This company is great to work with from start to finish! I highly recommend them on all levels!!!! The process was quick and timely with no concerns at all, you should use them!

An excellent company from the owner to the Forman, to the crew. They called first and showed up when they said. They did an excellent and quick job inspite of several short bouts of unforcasted rain which had them quickly cover the roofs with tarps until it quit.Because of the rain delays they asked for permission to keep working late to finish the job in one day as promised. When finished they cleaned up leaving the yard as it was when they arrived. They went carefully over the yard with a magnet dolly for nails and cleaned off deck and walkways of old shingle grains. All of the employees behaved as though True North was their company. You can’t ask for better service.

Everything about True North was perfect from start to finish. The quote was clear and precise, and matched the final bill exactly except for two changes that were clearly explained in advance and agreed to before completion. We had True North replace the shingles on our 13-year-old(!) house this summer. Mike (the company owner) clearly explained the materials and warranty options available and we picked a date. The crew was great: they were hardworking, fast and thorough… and a lot of fun. The guys’ experience and attention to detail was apparent which was critical to me – it’s not just how the finished roof looks, it’s what has been done beneath the shingles that’s equally important. There were a couple of unexpected encounters with rotten wood (from poor workmanship on our original shingle job) and from the crazy Alberta weather. Luckily the guys knew how to make the repairs, kept me informed and just took care of it. Communications before and during the job were very good. The finished roof looks great and I know it’s been done right. Thank you, Mike and crew! We really appreciated your professional approach.

This company was recommended to me by multiple neighbors after a bad hail storm and I would highly recommend this company for anyone looking to get the roofing done on their house. They were super polite, thorough and the best part FAST, I was home from work at 4 pm and they were just finishing up so my 2400 square foot home was completed in less than 9 hours, I was impressed. There was no pressure either, I had a few quotes and they came in provided one and that was it until I decided to call the to book with them. Thanks for the great quality work guys!

True North was hired to remove and dispose of the old shingles and replace with new 40 year shingles

I'm very happy with True North Exteriors. I got my roof and eaves-troughs done. They worked quickly and professionally. They finished the roofing all in one day. The eaves-troughs were also done (in 1 day, scheduled for about 1 week later). It looks great. They had about 5 workers and put down tarps to catch any tar or debris. The price was good and the quality also appears good.

I just have a couple minor complaints. When I inspected it afterwards, there was a bit of minor debris and left on the roof. And when they took the old shingles off my garage, old glue bits and debris rained down lightly inside my garage - it would have been nice to have been warned in advance about this.

Cost breakdown:
6676.01 GAF shingles, attic static vents (turbo) (1425 sqft house)
2950.06 (including leaf guards for 1025.10 extra)

I got a few quotes and these prices were very competitive. I also discovered that for roof + eaves-troughs, it seems to be a bit easier to use the same company for both.

Overall, I'm completely happy and would recommend True North Exteriors to anyone.
