I was really unhappy with the service as the part worth $200 was charged for $495 on the top the Labour. When we asked to provide details after the initial diagnosis, we were misguided on the faulty part. Our control board was faulty but technician pointed to the inverter board as the required replacement product. We were very clear that we would like to explore options after the diagnosis. We paid for the diagnosis, but wrong information was intentionally fed so that we cannot try something on our own and they can charge arm and leg for the service.
I would never recommend anyone using this service as they were unethical and sneaky. I was charged $720 in total for a $200 worth part and 15 mins part replacement job ( which can be done easily by anyone ).

We are sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied HOWEVER, you were informed of the price prior to installation. This part was out of stock with all vendors in Ontario and had to be special ordered from the United States. Due to the special overnight shipping and conversion to CDN dollars the price obviously increased quickly. To receive the $200 price you would have needed to wait between 7-15 business days.
We understand that it's next to impossible for a busy family to wait 2 to 3 weeks for their fridge to be repaired!
Also, the issue with your fridge was with the power board. This is very sensitive work and definitely not a 15 min job! We understand that you were unhappy with the price however, we at Appliance CPR made sure to keep you informed and aware throughout the entire process. We received your confirmation before ordering the part and ultimately completed the repairs. Next time, if you are unhappy with the price please don't hesitate to decline service rather than waiting until after completion of the job to write a negative review.
