Extremely poor service and VERY dishonest

Firstly, do not give this company your credit card information. When they were hired to do our pool cleaning, they told me we could use our own pool chemicals or theirs. I then purchased various products and put them near the pool. The person who came, if asked any questions, was rude. He also left the pool with tons of leaves and did not vacuum various areas. The report he left showed he was using a huge amount of chemicals in the pool (a manager came and said it was too alkaline so he added acid). The next day, this guy added 5 kg of alkaline boost. As I thought something was going on, I asked for an up-to-date invoice. The pool cleaning charge should have been about $260 but the invoice was for over $520 (for 4 cleanings)!! It included a truck charge (nothing I had been told about). They charged for chemicals I had plus other ridiculous charges. I asked about the various charges and for a new invoice and NOT to put the charge on my credit card as I would pay them using a different method. They immediately put the over-inflated and incorrect charge through right on my credit card after I asked them not to so I am now disputing it. DO NOT USE this company!

Hello Private User.. I have now sent 2 replies to your post, with no response. I feel badly that you think we had done so wrong, and I am aware of who you are. I know we had discussed all matters in full detail to resolve our differences prior to your post and there was obviously a complete misunderstanding. You have decided to take action by posting a negative review about Steve's Pools and a few of my staff. I am sorry to say your claims are not all true, and most are far from accurate. I just wanted to address your review and express that if this is how you see us, then I am sorry your 5 WEEKS with Steve's Pools was such a terrible one. As you know your account was fully credited back for any supplies you disputed, even though you were left a detailed DOOR CARD each week of the services completed and chemicals used, it took you 5 WEEKS to bring this issue to my attention. I feel that if our service man was not doing the job you expected as of day 1 you could have contacted me directly so that I could inspect and review the pool and terms so that your service would be what you expected and paid for. Again I am sorry you feel we had done so wrong. Keep well..
