Furnace Inspection that caused leak and extra $$$
You are better off going to one of the more bigger and reliable HVAC companies . While they may be more costly upfront, this company charged me twice for something they should have fixed upfront. Very unprofessional service and poor communication.
They claim they are "all about the customer" and "not about the money" but after our furnace started leaking after they performed a simple furnace inspection, they were hesitant to come back to our house to address the issue. Their first solution was "for me to fix the issue myself by blowing into a pipe" or they were asking me to call a plumber.
Not only was this not helpful at all (while our basement was flooding up with water) but they totally dismissed the issue and claimed it was not their fault.
Shortly after they did call me back and asked me if I still needed help with the issue. They arrived at the end of the work day and addressed the issue. So all good right? Wrong! Despite saying over and over he was "not about the money" the owner slipped a comment before he left that "this was his minimum amount for a service call...but I could "pay whatever I want""
To me and my wife's confusion, we thought he was correcting this issue free of charge since he is the one that caused it. I decided I did not want bad karma and paid him for this additional time ($2/min = $120/hr) but that I did not think I should have to pay for a simple corrective action.
They (unprofessionally) came back ad stated that they did not cause the issue, did nothing wrong, and that my payment was not sufficient enough and that no contractor would accept such a low amount (again unnecessary and rude).
This company might "know their stuff" and be experts in the field of hvac but their people skills and customer service is horrible and I will not recommend them to anyone. Better to go with one of the bigger companies that you can rely on for good service and no additional fees.

Dear Mr. Vijay
We have done Furnace maintenance & replace the humidor PAD on Dec 6th.
Since your furnace was Med. Efficiency there is NO drain connected.
We have replace your Humidifier PAD only. Since your humidifier was OFF long time ago, there is NO WATER coming out and you do not see the issue of your clogged drain. After Humidifier starts working definitely it has to get clear path for water to drain in gutter. Since your gutter/drain (Under the flooor) was clogged and water start spilling over the time.
As we are not PLUMBER we can not clean gutter/drain, so as a courtesy we were trying to help you over the phone how you can verify/correct the issue.
We even told you to contact PLUMBER.With your respect & request we came same day even on busy day to help you to check weather the issue is because of us.
Finally we clean gutter and fix your issue even we don’t provide PLUMBING services & that was not part of furnace maintenance.
And what you paid us is $30.(15 minute X 2)
So It is not $2/ min.= $129/hour. It’s all including travelling time, truck fuel, technician pay rate & the drain pipes we replace for you.
Even you did not pay us our service fees, we still didn’t bring up any issue and leave it on you stating “what ever you think we deserve pay us”.After giving you service beyond our limit by getting $30 only and you still put this comment about us, that is really unfair.
Check anywhere in GTA who will come to your place at same day, late evening, replace drain tube, clear your gutter and get paid $30.We did our best to serve you in our capacity. We are sorry that it was not efficient to leave a happy customer.
