WARNING! DO NOT HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR!
After my father passed away, my mother hired this contractor for our basement renovations but sadly, he is the most unprofessional and unreliable contractor I’ve had the displeasure of working with. There were days that he promised to come by to work on the projects but did not show up nor did he have the common courtesy to call us to notify us of such. He charges professional fees which isn’t cheap so we had high expectations but his work did not even come close to what we had envisioned. He is incapable of taking responsibility for his mistakes and instead of apologizing to his clients and rectifying our concerns - he just gave us excuses and blamed his workers for the poor job when it’s his responsibility to manage his team! None of the projects that we paid him for were completed to our satisfaction because the projects were not even completed!! Moreover, the workmanship looked like an untrained amateur completed it.
When I confronted him about the incomplete projects and poor job that we already paid him in full for - he told me he was going to send workers back to our home to fix everything but nobody ever showed up nor did I hear from him again. I relentlessly tried to get a hold of him for a couple of weeks and even months but like a coward - he ignored all of my calls and texts.
I’ve attached pictures of the work that was done for us by this man and his crew which is UNACCEPTABLE and also proof that these individuals do not have the skill set to work as professional contractors.
In conclusion, I am appalled at how this contractor handled business with my mother and I. I’m also truly repulsed and disappointed that an individual would have the audacity to take advantage of a morning widow. His actions proved that he has no human decency at all. My mother hired this man and paid him for work that he did not complete; Now, we not only have to hire another contractor to complete the projects he started but they will also have to fix the mess he and his crew left in our basement. I would NOT recommend this contractor to anybody!
