Molly Maid Etobicoke Central, York

We hired Molly Maid to do a final clean of our house after selling it. We had called other companies but settled on Molly Maid because of their reputation. What a mistake! We were quoted $64 per hour. Two cleaners were in our house for 3 hours and 40 minutes. We saw $543 on the visa bill afterwards. When I called Lee to complain she was rude and combative. She swore she quoted $128 per hour (she did no such thing). When I threatened to cancel the bill on my Visa she went half way ($95 per hour). Not only did they take too long, clean things they were specifically asked not to, (the stove), but the experience of being double-charged means I can never, ever trust Molly Maid again. And the rude, accusatory attitude of Lee, is very damaging to Molly Maid's reputation.

Terrible service and very very lazy cleaners. They will rip you off, waste your money and time and make sure you come home to a big disappointment. The owner Lee is rude and has a worryingly explosive temper. Go elsewhere if you want your house cleaned well.

I contacted the owner of the Molly Maid services in Etobicoke, ON and she arranged, albeit on very short notice two ladies to come to our home and clean for an hour in a half. I would not call this firm again though. I was very disappointed with their efficiency and cheap and "dirt" cleaning skills. I specifically explained what I wanted the ladies to clean and explained there was dust from a painting renovation in the laundry room that needed to be cleaned. To save time, I had already vacuumed the house so I asked the ladies to just mop the floors, clean bathrooms, focus on cleaning the kitchen cupboards and fridge (if time allowed). The lady that worked in the laundry room only scrubbed the sink, left dust on window sills, door knobs (visible) and paint flecks on the floor. I noticed one of the ladies mopped the floor around the one piece of furniture we had in our living room, because we just moved in and rooms were basically empty. Good grief, what's happened to good customer service and getting what you pay for with your hard-earned money?
