Renewal By Andersen Of Greater Toronto

Had the patio door installed back aug/sept of 2019. We noticed issues with the screen door, called for warranty service.
A technician can out to assess and concluded that there was an issue with it. Promptly placed an order for a replacement. He returned a couple weeks later with a replacement screen door. As he was installing it noticed the same issue. He then realised that the initial install was not plumb or square. He put an order in for the door to be R&R'd.
At the end of June, I called to find out when the installer would return to fix the door. They wanted to send them out that week, I suggested they send out someone to evaluate the work to be done so nothing gets missed.
An engineer came out and was surprised that the initial install was left as it was. His recommendation was to replace the complete frame and was glad that I had asked for the thorough look over to have all the i's dotted and t's crossed.
A new install crew showed up today (masks on) Aug 12, 2020 and took their time double and triple checking level and plumb, using shims where necessary (not one shim on the initial install).
All in all I have to say that Renewal by Andersen stands by their warranty. The door operates flawlessly now as does the screen door.
