Dishwasher repair with hidden charges
Skilled technician who fixed our leaking dishwasher in 30 minutes.
However, there were hidden and deceitful charges on our bill. The invoice was only sent to me after specifically requesting it. In addition, I had to ask for a breakdown of costs and the responses were ambiguous. It is a very dodgey business practice not being able to provide costs on labor work.
Do not let the $40 discount or reimbursement of the diagnosis charge trick you. They will charge you more than anticipated without explanation. See attached invoice.

We send an email explaining charges before we ever go out. Then when we know the issue we give you an "all in quote" includes the whole job, so you know your exact costs, before we start the repair. You either accept it or decline it in which case we get paid out for the time it took to figure out the issue your unit is having.
So in a year we have about 5000 customers and I'll have this conversation with about 20 of them who don't read it the way it was intended to be read. Which is fine we are all different. If the quoted repair cost isn't to your liking please don't accept the quote, then turn around trying to get money off after the work is done. Dealing after the work is done is weird.
We wouldn't have done the job for less, we charge what the job takes to get done. You see a tech for 30 minutes however with the return trips, part pick pick up's and everything else that's needed to make sure your job is serviced properly and with a skilled tech like you just said we have to pay them for their hours of service. They don't do 3hours of work getting you all lined up to get paid for 30 minutes. Which a few of you think they should. So we give an all in quote to speed up the process. This is what the job is worth, this is what you'll pay and what we will do it for, before we even begin repairs.
