Custom Finishing

Joe is easy to deal with guy. We have agreed on the price and i follow his suggestions on what tiles to buy. I am very happy with the outcome.

I hired David recently through a recommendation from a friend. All i can say is that, he did a very good job and it was meticulously done. He is very professional and explain all the details before he starts the job. He even asked you to check the work from time to time in case you would like some stuff done in a certain way. I would definitely hire him again to do my floor in the future and would recommend him to my friends and family. He is the GUY to work with if you are that particular!

BEWARE!!!!!

No skill, no craftsmanship, no reliability.

This guy claims he's professional and meticulous but I've never seen such blatantly sloppy and lazy work. He doesn't know what "finished" work actually means. Point in case: he put laminate floors over a carpet in our basement. He left crazy jagged cracks in our glass backsplash in the kitchen. Sloppy! We've had tons of work done on several house flips and I've never seen such terribly careless work.

Best part--HE DIDN'T COMPLETE THE JOB! He seemed so happy and willing to work with us in meeting a deadline to get our house on the market and then he left us high and dry with unfinished work and work that was falling apart. He has monopolized the word search "tiler" on kijiji so if you've found David the Custom Finisher on there do yourself a favour and don't contact him.

The second he was completed a task he'd ask for payment for it. I hardly got a chance to inspect his work. I think he stopped showing up because I asked him to fix some serious defects he left behind and he knows he's just not good enough to finish the work.
