Leaks in Basement to be fixed.
We had three leaks in our basement and decided to call the crack doctor after a friend said they did a good job. They were 2 1/2 hours late for the first appointment and we had to re-schedule. When they came, they told us that the repair could not be fixed from the inside and had to be done from the outside. My wife asked for a quote, which was a crazy amount, as they told her it was more expensive to do in the winter. We told them we would get back to them, and they did not return any of the insulation or vapor barrier, and then charged us over $90 for the service call. Check the website: It clearly says 50 pt FREE estimates. I will not be calling them back to do the work.....awful!

- Company Response
We are very sorry for being late for our first appointment. The office called immediately to notify for the delay due to the previous appointment taking longer than expected .In that conversation with your wife, was agreed the appointment to be rescheduled to accommodate her schedule not to interfere with the daycare that is run in the house.
Regarding other issues we made a full investigation to find out what happened.
During the first call in the office with one of our trained specialists over the phone about the leaks in the basement, it was determined there was one visible crack and two other potential cracks that were leaking.A free estimate was given for one interior crack repair and was advised that when the technician was there he would inspect for free the other areas and provide a solution. The estimate to repair one inside crack was accepted by the customer, therefore an appointment was scheduled to repair one inside crack foundation.
The next appointment was scheduled for December 23rd, and our technician managed to be there 30 minutes ahead of time to ensure that he was not late due to the traffic. When the technician was there, he was ready to do exactly what was agreed over the phone, which was to repair one crack and inspect the other problem areas and provide a solution.
He made a full inspection of the basement. There was one visible crack that he could have repaired on that day, another crack behind the furnace not accessible from the inside, and a porous area that was determined not suitable for the interior repair. It is very important that we provide solutions to our customers that we can fully guarantee, and not just a “quick fix”.
The customer refused to do any of the work on this day, and service call of $85 plus tax was collected, which was explained to the customer that it is 100% refundable towards any repairs done by us.
The quote provided is price competitive and well accepted throughout the industry for the type of work proposed.
We well be happy to help!
