Read this before you decide to build with VAAR.
All problems started from beginning. They drilled the hole in our house for power cable for garage in the wrong spot.They damaged a siding,drywall and wallpaper. Instead of solving the problem professionally,they offered us to install some patches on the both sides of the wall. Just imagine,-some patch on the middle of the wall on a wallpaper. After that,main garage door was installed improperly.Garage door hinges are braking every 2 months. We asked another builders,they told us after inspection our garage,it's wrong installation. Side door has a problem too.They promised to fix everything within a year,but they don't reply on phone calls and our emails.

Please read this before you decide to build with VAAR.

1. Garage door is not properly installed. Based on other reviews most have the same issue. Garage door brackets break with time, one after another. I asked another company to complete an inspection and I was told that the entire door will have to replaced which is very pricy and that the door that was installed is very cheap, and the door is not currently aliened correctly and all brackets are not installed properly. Vaar again does not respond and I reported this issue within 1 year.
2. The entry garage door was not properly installed and Vaar promised to fixed it so it closes but I have been trying to contact the company and no responses. I even have a message that VAAR will fix...I asked another company to complete an inspection and I was told that the door frame will have to be redone.

Also, here is something else: in order to install electricity in the garage, they dug a hole and seems like they don't complete locates, and they drilled through the house wall at the wrong location and damaged the wall and all interior finishes. I was lucky that I still had the house warranty... they also not suppose to take any deposits unless they have proper insurance (only big companies have such insurance).

Neighbours also had issues with them...

In the end, VAAR was very rude with me for nothing and not willing to fix things within 1 year...saying that someone tried to get into my garage so they had many accuses....Also, their warranty is only 1 year but other companies provide a lifetime warranty.

Now, I have an opinion from a garage expert.

At the beginning we were happy, when the garage was almost done I pointed out how his garage door installers ran the wires wrong. He said he would get it fixed, after months of asking when and getting no response I have up.

Then when I reached out because my garage leaks when it rains, he told me he would come and fix it. 2 months later and him only replying to 1 in 3 emails saying "maybe this weekend" still no service.

Really nice guy, the garage looks good, but once he has your money you wont hear from him again.

Vee and his workers do a great job in our garage. Upgraded garage height and front door from standard size, wide 8x7 roll-up back door, 48x36 sliding window and 36" back main door. He overcome our expectations as being a picky costumer. His workers were all approachable from Father and Son tandem on the Pad, dearest friends on structural and Asian friends on doors and eavesdrops. All were done in just 4.5 weeks from scratch to finish. 2.5 weeks on secured drying pad and reamining on the complete structure. Door opener was the latest on the market with remote controls, key pad, and Mobile Apps for either android or IOS.

Vee and his crew did a great job building our garage in Mahogany. The price was very reasonable compared to other garage companies, and the quality of the work was professional and what we expected. No hidden costs and the job was completed on time. We would recommend them to anyone looking for a garage builder.

A friendly and professional owner and crew, who worked quickly with attention to detail. Affordable result without cutting any corners. Secured all permits and inspections. Worked with my upgrade ideas, and suggested some that I wouldn't have thought about myself. Very happy with the finished garage from pad to completion.

Vee and his men did a great job building my garage. They were very professional, very good workers and cleaned up after there work each day. At the end of the job they did a complete clean up inside and outside of the garage. What you sign on the contract will be supplied by Vee. I will recommend this company to anyone. VAAR Exteriors built a 22’ x 22’ garage for me in May 2018. Everything was as described and quoted. Vee was a pleasure to deal with, as were all of his workers that I met. He took the time to walk me through the features of the door and opener. The work was done quickly, so my yard wasn’t disturbed for long. Start to finish it was done within 2.5 weeks (slight delay due to rain). So far very happy with the work.
