It’s now been 5 months that we have requested, pleaded, and begged Jeff at Toronto Mechanical HVAC (the original sub contracted installer by Chris Lawrence) to service the deficiencies with their installation of the LG 4 head compressor and 3 new ductless units in our renovation last year.

It started last May when we fired up the a\c during our first heat wave here in Toronto. The house cooled easily and we were happy for at least 1\2 hour.
we expected that his recommended sub-trades would work to at least to some kind of acceptable standard like the building code. Well, they did not.

The 2nd floor a/c air handler rotating fin was mishandled and it’s plastic flange snapped off and it has never been installed or replaced.
The water flow into the laundry room flows yellow for the first minute (new piping and it flows yellow?)
the kitchen double sink after 3 attempts to rectify still does not drain properly because the water backs up from a convoluted piping and
The radiators with all new boiler piping did not heat up last Nov/Dec during the first blast of winter. Over a period of eight (8) separate attempts to resolve the radiator failure by Jeff and his team the rads finally heated the house. However, the newly installed recycling pump ( Jeff’s solution to pumping up the pressure to ensure 3rd water flow in the rads) began to howl during the night. This was never resolved by Jeff and it remains to be seen this winter if the same problem returns.

Approximate cost of services:
$40,000.00
