The company was able to provide an appointment the next day. Technician arrived one hour late. The opener needed replacement however I had to ask several times for a quote. Once the quote was received, with the details, the tech 3.5 hours to install. At the end, he said he would need another tech to come because the door wasnt opening correctly. I tried myself and the bar was repeatedly hitting the door upon closing, the door literally slammed shut. And upon opening, the door did not open smoothly at all. The tech indicated it was the slamming that was incorrect; I said there were many issues with the install.
New tech came same day; he advised me the first guy installed backwards (several parts). So I question the skill level of techs being sent out. However the next tech fixed everything and all worked as it should.
Paid the invoice at this point. Upon trying to connect to MyQ for wifi opening, I discovered this was not the u it installed; although it was clearly laid out in the quote and on the invoice. I texted the tech who had come to fix the install and he confirmed the wifi opener was not installed and someone from the office would call me in the morning. Friday morning I had to call the office around 1130hrs; explained what happened and they said only the tech who fixed it could address and could come on Tuesday, to which I said. I, not available. They said Monday but couldnt confirm a time.
Monday comes and I receive a call around 1115hrs and the tech says he has a flat and will hopefully be able to come today. I explained I would be willing to accept a rebate for the incorrect opener being installed and for my i convenience however he said there wouldnt be enough of a profit margin to give a rebate and would be coming. He did come by 1330hrs
and the correct opener was installed.
So all in all, the worst service however not the best due to the original tech obviously not knowing what he was doing and another having to come to fix (same day so thats good) and for the incorrect opener being installed however it was rectified 4 days later.
