Pristine Plumbing & Drainage

My place is from the 50's and as such the drain tile is made of clay and after 70 years they are failing, some collapsed and other are plugging up do to root ingress. Daniel at pristine explained that i need to replace it either sooner or later as they can keep coming out to auger the line and more roots get in 6-8 months later. Add to this I have a rental in the basement and they are the first to notice when the line I plugged.

Work started on Tuesday morning at 8am and by 11 am the lawn was ripped apart and the clay pipe was removed, by 1 the new pipes were installed and ready for city inspection. The Next day the city came by and passed everything and on Thursday the team put everything back together.

They did a fantastic job and will continue to use them for anything I need. My place looks great and the peace of mind I have knowing that I will not have to worry about when the next backup is coming is very welcome.

Last point is that they did not leave until the job was done and I was satisfied. On the same block another house got this exact work done (we all have 70 year old pipes) and his lawn is not closed up and his yard still looks like it under construction (6 months later). My place looks great and when the grass grows back in a month or two you would never know anything was done.

Andrew was very professional, arrived on time, diagnosed the problems and gave us the work quote prior to starting the work. The kitchen sink was completely blocked, the tub drain was running slowly and so was a bathroom sink and helped us fix a part in a toilet. It's been about a month now and everything is flowing well.

Andrew came to put in a new hot water tank for me. He came on time and did an amazing job. He went over and above and fixed things other plumbers had done poorly and added things so if I ever had a hot water leak in the future it would not be catastrophic. He was very knowledgeable and thorough and took the time to answer my many questions. So nice to feel good about what was done as it was done well.

Either Andrew or Michael have been to the house. They are professional and friendly, explaining everything they are doing from the start of the appointment to when they are finished.
Another bonus is that they clean the floors and the counters when they are done. No mess left behind!
There are no surprise charges when the bill is written up.

Andrew was awesome. He was very professional and answered all my questions. He was able to clear the sewer and determine the problem. The City is now working to address the collapsed pipe.

I'm so glad I found Pristine Plumbing on here. I reached out to a few companies for quotes and while all were similar, Pristine was the fastest to respond and most confident in their responses (thanks Dan!)
We used them for our kitchen reno which meant the moving of a water line for the fridge from one side of the kitchen to another, on a totally different wall, and then a return visit to connect the new sink and dishwasher.

Andrew came to help us out on both those visits and was an absolute rockstar. Everything went as planned for the water line, but once the sink was installed he noticed that it wasn't draining as quickly as it should. He came back a week later to see what else could be done and I watched him meticulously trouble shoot every possible option that might be causing the slow draining. He finally discovered that our pipes were backgrading quite badly (something that was from the original build of the house) and were quite clogged with grease buildup. He fixed the backgrade which set us back only an extra $200 (which for the amount of time he spent down there, was beyond reasonable). Our sink now drains lightening fast and honestly out of all the trades I had in for this full kitchen reno Andrew and Pristine Plumbing were the easiest to coordinate, gave the most detailed and thoroughly informative invoices (complete with photos!), and were an absolute pleasure to work with.
I'm a firm believer that once you find a service provider that does a fantastic job you hold on to them so I'll be calling Andrew & Pristine Plumbing for all our future plumbing needs moving forward.

Dishwasher flooded kitchen floor due to massively clogged sink pipes. Found Pristine Plumbing & Drainage on Google and booked an appointment. The tech (Michael) was on time, professional and friendly. He let me explain the situation and then explained how he could fix it. Had to replace my garburator and clean out the pipes which was expected. Managed to get the parts he needed and complete the repair in about 1 1/2 hours. Showed me what was done and explained the warranties etc. Everything works great now and very happy with my first time ever calling a plumbing service.
