Worst experience ever! First of all they showed up late and with only 2 movers instead of the 3 we requested. So we had to wait for the 3rd mover before they could start. Turns out the movers were working a double shift and they started slowing down after a couple of hours and had to have breaks that we were paying for. Second, they damaged my kitchen table dropping it because of their fatigue. Then my coffee table got so scuffed up because they were putting boxes on it. And even worse, after I complained about the coffee table and how it was so damaged (previously in pristine condition), due to one mover sliding boxes along the coffee table instead of putting boxes on the floor, the mover got in trouble and he found my cell phone to send me malicious messages, calling me a racist and saying awful things. This scared me because he knows where I live and he shouldnt have access to my contact information. Now to top it all off, when the furniture repair person couldnt restore the furniture to the original condition, after 2 months of back and forth, they only would compensate us with $150 even though our ruined furniture is worth about $2500. Its been a month and we havent received the $150 they begrudgingly agreed to. IF YOU HAVE NICE FURNITURE, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

I would not recommend this company to anyone. 1) their pricing was unclear. Originally they said that the move was a minimum charge of 2 hours. The total move was around 4 hours however when I went to pay they had a travel time charge of $120 dollars. 2) during the move they failed to strap in my antique grandfather clock and it was badly damaged. I tried to claim it with them, but they said it had to be within 48 hours of the move. None of which was disclosed. 3) they complained the whole move even though we helped move most of it.

I'm just getting around to writing this. But felt I should let folks know - this company did not meet the minimum expectations for a mover. 3 man job. They dropped a piece of furniture and it damaged the wall of one bedroom in the property we were leaving (they never mentioned it, we found the damage after the move was paid, it required 3 larger drywall gouges be repaired and repainted at our additional expense which I recently used a Homestars actual star to repair), lost the grill from the front of my fridge, marked up the walls/ceiling of my new property when bringing in stuff. It was costly and NOT a good experience. We have moved many times - this was the worst. Would never use them again. Only good part - one guy on the crew was a little older and seemed to genuinely want to do a good job.

We moved on a cold and snowy day from a packed 2 bedroom apartment to a house. Toby and Caleb moved us and were excellent. Two hardworking, friendly guys that moved fast and with care. Would definitely recommend Calgary Professional Movers to a friend.

We were disappointed by a different moving company on our moving day but Calgary Pro Movers save the day for us. Most of our belongings were in the garage and ready to go and we had no place to pass the night except our new house. We called Calgary Promovers on a short notice and Charles delivered on his promise. The movers were fast and careful and the price is reasonable. You guys made our day,.

Pleasent, hardworking staff. They were very accommodating of our circumstances (involving a delayed flight), and didn't charge us extra. They handled the furniture delicately, so there was no damage in the move. Very satisfied.

I had booked a move with Calgary Professional Movers to move a 4 bedroom home from Kensington to Auburn Bay. The day of the move I had 2 movers instead of 3 and both were so ill prepared and poorly trained that it was exhausting watching them "work." After seeing how incapable they were I had them only move the larger the items. When the job was done I noticed that there was a jar of change and small bills missing from one of my dressers. When I confronted the men about the jar they both denied it was them. 9 months later and still the jar has not turned up. Also, the movers attempted to charge me for 3 men not 2 and heavy items. Basically they charge you 70 dollars for anything over 50lbs. What a joke! You have to be really careful when choosing a contractor. Do your research and avoid these losers at all costs!

I called 3.5 weeks ahead of my move and booked a 4 man crew to start my move at 11:00 AM on the scheduled day. I then called them the day before and confirmed the start time of the move at 11:00 AM. The day of the move, they showed up 3.5 hours late. They showed up with 3 guys instead of 4. What should have taken 4 hours to move took 8.5 hours. One of the crew members reeked so bad of booze I couldn't even stand beside him. He didn't even have a pair of gloves and he was obviously so incapable of working that even his crew leader was exasperated with him near the end of the move. While everything got moved with only very slight damages, my schedule was destroyed for the rest of the move. These guys worked hard until 10:30 at night, but were so inexperienced, not professional, short a man, then STILL charged me an arm and a leg AND ASKED FOR A TIP, that I would simply recommend hiring one of the better known companies who may charge a bit more of an hourly rate but would likely do a MUCH more professional job.
