At RepairCare we are very upfront with our pricing and at the time of booking the appointment our sales team are to let you know the cost of the flat fee for repair and the cost of the service call if you do not go forward with the repair. If this was not done, please let us know. Lianne, our part costs include a 90 day warranty as opposed to the industry standard of only 30 days. It also protects you from unexpected situations that arise such as receiving a wrong/defective part or a part that has failed after the installation. The cost of the technician coming back to remove the old part, the logistics involved in returning the old part, ordering the new part and the return visit to install the part again are all done at no additional cost to you. The quote also includes shipping and handling. We do this to give you the peace of mind and confidence in knowing that RepairCare is taking care of it all for you. Lianne, please know that every once in a while we do experience a glitch with our parts calculator. If you would give us a chance, we would like the opportunity to look into this further.
