Company very dishonest

This company tricks you by saying there is an upper limit on the amount they will charge for service. However, they get around this by drastically inflating the price of any parts you need to buy.
And if you say, "I'll get my own part" since Reliable Parts or somewhere else is half the price, they say "OK, but then we won't warranty the repair."

Very, very shady business.

Thank you for your review AH and bringing this to our attention. Our other clients have also brought this to our attention. We just implemented a new software program and discovered that sometimes the part calculations are not correct. We are still working out the bugs and the developers are working diligently to resolve the issue.

Sounds like you feel that we are a very very dishonest company and it looks like you really believe we are ripping off our clients. Seems like you feel like we are trying to scam you, that we were lying to you and trying to steal your money. I am so sorry you feel that way. At RepairCare we strive to be fair, professional and ethical at all times. The owner is very good to all his staff, technicians and clients. His strong belief in how we treat our clients is the driving force behind a 9.1 rating on HomeStars with over 350 reviews.

We used to warranty the repair when our clients got their own parts. Then we had a series of incidents where the supplier shipped the wrong parts, the parts were defective or broken and we had to send the technician back several times because of our warranty. On several occasions, we made 3-4 visits for the same client as the first visit, the incorrect part was shipped and we did not know that till we got there, the second visit we did the installation, the third visit we had to go back to rediagnosis as the part was defective and the repair only lasted about 3 weeks and the 4th visit was to reinstall the part again. As such, it was not too difficult to conclude that we cannot operate this way. Our solution, we still give our clients the liberty to get their own parts, but now we no longer warranty the work.
