Worst Service Call I have ever had in 30+ years
UPDATE: I must admit I am impressed with the Customer Service Manager for RepairCare. She was a big reason I decided to go with RepairCare and after I posted my review, she did her best to make up for a bad situation. I received a full refund but more importantly I felt she was sincere in expressing RepairCare's disappointment in the service that was provided by this particular technician. They made good on their customer care promise. They are off my bad books and I'll chalk this up to just a bad luck that we got this tech.
ORIGINAL: It was obvious that the Repair Care "service tech" had minimal experience/knowledge with our KitchenAid/Whirlpool refrigerator as we had to show him where the parts where and how they worked, even though we had already specified to Repair Care the exact problem we were having with the icemaker. At the end of the $120 “service call”, he said he would text me the cost of the parts the following day. Instead he texted me that night 9:39pm, then he called the house at 10:30pm at night, waking up our kids, trying to get us to order his parts. We ended up ordering the parts ourselves (for a lot less) and doing the work ourselves. Definitely never going to deal with Repair Care again.
