Dishwasher Repair - Do no use this company
My Jenn Air dishwasher had a small leak. I called Repaircare and a service technician came by to diagnose the problem and determined I will need to replace the intake valve. As he did not have the part on hand he will need to order the part and requested that I pay half for the labour ($107.32) and part ($136.09) for the repair. About a week later he returned with the part but was unable to complete the repair as he discovered that the dishwasher had another problem (pump). At this point he advised it is no longer economical to repair the dishwasher. He said I should be able to obtain a refund as the repair job never took place. I brought this up with the company to request at least a refund for the part portion since I had paid half of it already but the part was never installed or used. They refused my request outright without a an explanation. A terrible and unfair customer experience and will not recommend using this company for any appliance repair.

I am sorry you are not happy with the service, the reason the part wasn't installed is that you decided not to repair it, As with most companies special order parts deposits are non refundable. We would have been happy to do the repair, but you chose not to. Our Tech would never had taken a part deposit then advised you not to fix it. But again sorry you didn't let us assist you
