Roy came to inspect the washer and waited for a whole cycle to complete. Turns out, no leak appeared! Kind of like making an appointment with the doctor and suddenly feeling a lot better.
Anyway, Roy gave me some important tips that will help me avoid overflow in the future. I will call him again if the problem recurs.
