Poor communication and substandard plants. We arranged to have a lengthy area along a fence planted with what were to be mature plants to provide a good privacy screen. We paid a lot more to get larger plants and agreed to the cost which I was told included the cost of planting them. Not until just before the planting I learned I would have to pay to prepare the area, not giving me enough time to find another supplier. Then when the plants arrived (many in poor condition or simply much smaller than the others) many excuses were given. In retrospect I should simply have refused them. Be prepared to get ALL costs in writing in advance and refuse any substandard work or plants.
