I want to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the so-called professional painting service provided by Ali and his crew. From the onset, Ali presented himself as a great salesperson, leading me to believe that I was hiring a competent team for the job. However, it quickly became evident that I had been deceived, and their workmanship was far from professional.

Firstly, I had booked their services well in advance, eagerly anticipating the completion of the painting project in our new home. I allowed them a generous timeframe of 4 days, which aligns with industry standards for a proper job completion. To my surprise, they rushed through the work in just 2 days, and the shoddy results were evident. Old drop sheets were carelessly used, leading to paint splatters all over the place, especially on my hardwood floors. Despite some effort on their part to clean up the mess, I continue to find traces of their paint on my floors to this day.

The quality of their work was woefully subpar, falling far short of any professional service I have dealt with in the past. The walls were not adequately sanded, and some areas were left unsanded altogether. They offered excuses for various deficiencies, citing the previous use of oil-based paint on the trims as the reason for poor adhesion. However, these excuses failed to explain why the wall color was sloppily painted over onto the trims, resulting in visible color bleed on the trims in the basement. Additionally, numerous paint drips further highlighted their lack of attention to detail.

In response to my complaint, the painters reluctantly returned to address the issues, but the results were even worse. Their lack of competence was evident as they missed glaring mistakes that we had to point out ourselves. We took the time to tape the entire house for mistakes their crew had overlooked, such as large patches on the walls left unpainted. Even after claiming the job was done, the trims remained unfinished, edges were left unpainted, and only one coat was applied to the edges.

I did not invest my hard-earned money in a low-quality job, and it is unacceptable to be met with resistance when attempting to suggest improvements or point out their mistakes. As a consumer, I have the right to expect a level of professionalism and adherence to industry standards, which this crew failed to deliver.

In conclusion, I would strongly caution anyone considering hiring Ali and his team for painting services to look elsewhere. Their workmanship is substandard, and their approach to customer feedback is unprofessional. I regret entrusting them with my painting project, and I hope this review serves as a warning to others who may be tempted by their sales pitch.
