Dead Furnace and Old Water Tank
We returned from out of town shortly before New Year, to find our 40-year old furnace had well and truly died. We called Tyler, having found him on HomeStars. He was able to come over the same day we called and took measurements. We are in a 100-year old house and the heating had been renovated in the 1970's. There were problems! Tyler returned with the new furnace and arranged for a new and improved duct to be fabricated. He pulled out a lot of old, badly designed duct work and installed the new furnace. He also noticed that our hot water tank was about to go - something we could not see from the front but was clear from the back of it.
He had to work in a difficult area but was very clean and tidy.
Tyler is very focussed on customer service. He worked 12 hours on New Year's Eve, not leaving our house until after 9:00 pm. Throughout the weekend he returned to complete the work and showed us how to balance the house so that the hot air goes where we need it.
Tyler gave us a lot of information about the new system and advice for when we renovate our basement. He is an excellent communicator, he did what he said he was going to do when he said he was going to do it. There were no surprises except at how great it was to work with Tyler. We look forward to introducing him to our friends and family when they have work that requires Tyler's expertise.
