I chose HeatWorks based on their high rating on Homestars and I can say that Tyler lived up to his reputation. The first indication is that he answered his phone even when I called him after 8pm.

The second indicator that this is a good company is that he showed up on time (actually ten minutes early). In actuality, he had tried to come earlier than I had suggested (responding to the urgency of the leak) but I could not make my time. That he was able to be so flexible is a third indicator that this rating is justified.

Now those are all good indicators but the true indicator is whether he can actually get the job done. This is where I think he really showed his experience, knowledge and quality as a plumber. The leaking faucet itself took less than fifteen minutes to fix. Many companies would have taken the money and left. Tyler took the extra time to check the water pressure and luckily he noticed that it was excessive leading him to discover that the pressure relief valve was not functional. Without this discovery, I'm convinced that I would have had many more future repairs.
