Received a damaged $10 000 oven
TERIBBLE customer service once you purchase! Once they have your money, they don't care! Bought GE monogram kitchen appliances (approx $25k) and laundry pair from here. Appliances were delivered and we couldn't unbox them as our renos weren't done. Delivery guys told me to make a note on their form that "appliances could not be inspected as they were still boxed" and I signed next to this note. A week later, opened up the wall oven and noticed a HUGE dent (to a point where the metal was bent 90 degrees) and called Corbeil right away. Corbeil said to call GE. GE said to call the store where we got them. Corbeil claims there is a 48 hour policy to inspect the appliance and we missed it (GE says they are unaware of such policy). This policy is NOT stated anywhere on receipts/paperwork, and NO ONE told us!!!!! Obviously we would've checked if we knew there was a time limit!!!! Store manager was arrogant and ignorant and said "how do I know you didn't damage it? What do you expect, for me to pay out of pocket?" etc. Paid for a $10 000 damaged oven. No wonder this store has such low ratings for reviews. STAY AWAY! Other stores offer similar pricing and better service!
