My wife and I were moving from our acreage back to Spruce Grove. We were a little worried about moving again, since our last experience with movers back in 2008 was not a pleasant experience with a different company. I personally always look for any contractor that I may need for certain jobs on HomeStars. When I was looking for movers, I saw that Eager Beavers had a high star score, so we decided to have them move us. Well……. What an experience that was. The three gentleman that showed up were Keegan, Cyril & Nolan. These guys were extremely professional and did all the necessary prep to move our belongings. They were very efficient and packed everything with such great care. Nolan even packed my tower speakers in moving material and a custom box cover because I was not using them at our new location at this time.
It was minus 42 degrees Celsius that day which did not help the move, but these guys trudged through it like it was a nice mild spring day. A few of our outdoor items got damaged, but not because of their mishandling, it was just that cold and made it very brittle to move. Not a big deal. The entire move took 11 hours total which is amazing considering it was an hour drive to our acreage from town. We did however get overcharged compared to our quot. It was because they had the bill as four movers when there was only three. Reilly the Sales Manager looked over our contract and he returned the portion of our bill to account for three movers. We were very happy with the way Reilly handled our contract for this move.
We will most definitely be using Eager Beavers again for our next move and will recommend them to all our family and friends. We will request Keegan, Cyril & Nolan again also. They were a professional, caring, and considerate crew. Thank you again.
