Kari was a pleasure to work with, he took our ideas, added in his own and created a deck we are extremely happy with that suited our budget. He came in early to proactively get ahead of bad weather, worked long hours and was always courteous and polite. His team was also a pleasure to work with! The final product has surpassed our expectations in terms of quality of workmanship and style and we look forward to recommending Kari to friends and family.

Kari and his crew did great work over two trying days weather-wise (extreme heat the first day and rain the second day). They worked long days, were a pleasure to deal with and the fence looks great -we have already received compliments from our neighbours (and some passers-by). Kari was always willing to modify the plans to suit our whims, and came up with some great ideas. I recommend him and his crew without hesitation.

I called Ollivierre Contracting for a quote to replace a 40 yr old wood fence based on all the favorable comments on HomeStars.ca.
I was called shortly thereafter by Kari who came out when he said he would . He took measurements and provided me with a written quote , when he would be able to do the job and how long the job would take. It was some time before the work was completed, mainly because of all the rain we've had but in the end, I am very pleased with my new fence. My old fence was taken down in no time and when Kari and his crew were able to install the new fence, when it wasn't raining, it went up in no time as well.
Kari is a very personable young man and his crew were very courteous and good workers. They cleaned up the area when they were finished and I definitely would recommend this company to others.

I hired Kari and his team to build me a new deck and fence at my house in Ajax. They all arrived on time and the work was completed on time. You can tell these guys care about the work they do, with the attention they give to the small details. Would recommend Ollivierre Contracting to anyone.

We hired Kari to do a feature wall in our master bedroom. My husband and I settled on a wood-look for the wall our bed is against, and knew there was only one person we trusted to do it. Kari had come to our rescue in the Fall of 2016 when our previous contractor built us a deck that didn't meet any codes and the whole thing had to come down. We were so elated with what Kari did for our deck, so we asked him if this was something he would be able to do for us, and he immediately booked a consultation to come out and give us advice.

Kari provided us with many options and ideas regarding the actual material (ie: using tongue and groove pine which we would then stain, or laminate flooring which is what we ended up going with), what to do for trim, where to go to get the best priced material, and so forth. Once we found the material we wanted to use, we let him know, and he actually took care of purchasing it (we reimbursed him for that) and delivering it to our home. He showed up on time the days of the install, and spent time making sure things were level (especially for a project like this) so that we would end up with the best outcome possible.

Yet again, Kari went above and beyond what we expected. He worked well into the evenings making sure everything was perfect- from the actual install of the planks on the wall, to ensuring the trim was perfect, making sure the new baseboard was the exact match to the existing one and so forth. He even vaccumed our bedroom when he was finished!

Our wall looks amazing. Everyone we show it to can't stop complimenting on not only how good it looks, but how well it was installed.
Kari is one of those contractors that once you find, you don't want to let go of. We plan on hiring him for numerous projects into the future, and we're happy knowing we can depend on him to transform our home into what we envision.
