The work was prompt and professional. They scraped and sanded thoroughly, covered areas that would be damaged by spills, and painted carefully. A can of touch up paint was left when the job was complete. I would recommend them without reservation!

I'm giddy with pleasure, now, as I look up at my newly repainted ceilings! Initially painted three years ago (by another contractor), my 12 foot high ceilings quickly became an eyesore when they began to pucker and peel throughout my condo.

After looking at houses in our neighbourhood that had recently been painted and going online to look at painters’ web sites, we interviewed two companies and received proposals from both. When choosing companies to interview, we selected Glen Mhor because of the professionalism shown in their web site and by Rob McNeillie personally. His proposal was thorough and detailed, with the costs for each part of the job laid out clearly. He specified the quality and brand of paint he preferred, which gave us confidence that the job would not need to be done again because of poor quality paint. Finally, his price was substantially less than his competitor’s, which made it an easy decision in his favour.

We have a late Victorian worker’s cottage in Cabbagetown. The porch, wood trim, and millwork on the front were the most visible part of the job. The board and batten siding on the rear of the house was done as well. We were very impressed by how organized Rob and his team are. The preparation was thorough and done well. They worked quickly, efficiently, and neatly. Nothing was left for us to clean up and they came back after the job was finished to ensure that no details had been missed. Neighbours and passersby all complimented their work. Our next door neighbour liked what Glen Mhor did for us so much that he hired them to paint his ground floor interior.

Really good experience with these guys. They are not the cheapest (in those cases you tend to get what you don't pay for) but competitively priced. Very clear and honest quotes, no drama, worked to a fairly tight deadline and produced high quality work. They cleaned up as they worked and did a final clear up at job completion. Great experience in every way for a very reasonable price. The job was rather involved, as the walls had to be washed down with TSP and water before priming and painting. The team was terrific in every way - probably the hardest workers we've ever had at our house, not to mention the neatest (SO organized, SO tidy!) Rob was accommodating in every way and paid strict attention to every detail. Seeing the final product made me realize that there is a BIG difference between doing it oneself (which we've done until this point) and having professionals do the work - the walls have never looked so good. Will recommend to friends and family!

I wanted to freshen up my condo for sale. I was referred to Glen Mhor (specifically Rob McNellie) by my realtor. They were very professional and responsive. In addition to doing an excellent painting job, they were also able to revive some sore spots in my unit, including buckling wood framing around a built-in appliance.
