Our chimney was falling apart and was causing a leak in the bedroom. Rene and team were quick to respond, they provided transparent quotes for options on how to go about the work, and they were able to complete things in a timely manner. While they were a little more expensive than others their work was well worth.

I own a home that is over 120 years old. It had never had any brick or mortar work done ever but I didn't want to lose the patina and charm of the original brick work. Rene from Buildstrong visited my home before the project to view the scope of work, quoted me well under what I had initially budgeted myself for the job, and assured me they would be able to match the existing brick and mortar.

When the time came for the work to be done the initial job took less than two days and they reached out on the second day in the evening to confirm if the work was satisfactory. I noticed they had missed a couple areas which I sent photos and they came back out 48 hours later to complete the work.

I've seen so many terrible repointing jobs on other houses in the neighbourhood that I had been dreading getting this work done. When Buildstrong completed the work it was near impossible to tell which bricks had been replaced and where new mortar had been used. The work itself was in two parts. Both times, the people were terrific - really skilled at their work. Jason led the parging team and he was funny, professional, and thorough.

From start (enquiry from me) to end (final invoice), a total of just over two weeks.

Rene and his team came to fix and then finish a previous contractor's work. Not only was the quality of their work significantly better, but they took the time to repair and clean up the mess that was left by the other company. I was impressed by their professionalism and communication. I will use them again in the near future for other projects I am contemplating.
