We suffered flood damage from a faulty sump pump to our basement. Scott and his crew replaced the flooring, baseboards, constructed a large storage cabinet and painted all the walls and trim. We initially tried to hire individual contractors for each aspect of the job and found the cost prohibitive. Scott was able to do the entire job at a cost we could afford. Everything looks great and the project was completed on time.

Scott Clarkson and his team were all extremely friendly, on time, hard-working and took great pride in whatever part of the job they were doing.Scott kept me informed every step of the way of the progress and always asked for my input and approval! I felt that the job was very fairly priced.Just loving doing laundry now and hanging out to read in the adjoining room !!

We got Scott's contact through a realtor friend of ours. He came right away and quoted us fat fair price. They cut out an 8 ft opeing in a load bearing wall, opening up our kitchen and living room. They drywalled, trimmed and hung light fixtures. Everything looks amazing and we are very happy! Both Scott and Al were very professional and worked clean and timely. We will definitely be contacting them for future work on our house.

We hired Clarkson General Contracting to do some work at our place in Niagara on the Lake. Scott and his assistant Al did some excellent, very picky, work for us. They had to run some 240 amp cabling through a finished basement and also close off two unneeded entrances to our living and dining room.

Al was meticulous in his dry-walling and it is impossible to tell where the doors were, even up close... you can't get better than that, and we are very particular!

We recently moved to St Catharines and our Home Inspector gave us Scott Clarksons name when we asked for a contractor in the area. We now have a beautiful bathroom reno with a stunning custom walk-in shower, a great fence around our backyard, and on the outside of our house we have new trim around windows and doors and have replaced all the soffits. I was referred to Scott - co-owner of Clarkson General Contracting - by an acquaintance of ours in the building and renovation industry. We met and discussed the items we wanted to accomplish. Right from the get go Scott came across as possessing a wealth of info and ideas relating to home upgrades and renovations. We identified the specific details that comprised our wish list and received a cost estimate from Scott.

Not only did he manage his team throughout, but he also participated on specific project tasks himself. He helped us throughout the project by co-ordinating with the custom kitchen cabinet supplier and appliance store provider to make sure that all required specifics were dealt with in a timely fashion.

The quality of his work was first-rate. He and his team installed new hardwood floors, participated in the final install of new custom kitchen cabinets and all related electrical, pot lights, plumbing, backsplash and appliance installation, new porcelain tile in bathroom, complete house painting, new patio door and window installation.

He addressed all of our concerns and questions. He completed all tasks on the project list on time and on budget and more than a few additional tasks that were added by us. He also reacted very professionally to any last minute changes we introduced along the way !!

Throughout the project Scott also provided us great ideas for design, colour and structural decisions.

I would recommend Scott and Clarkson General Contracting to anyone thinking about a home renovation or upgrade project, be it small or large. Well done Scott - we are a very happy customer !!
