I WAS LOOKING FOR AN ELECTRIC RECLINER FOR MY 102 YEAR OLD AUNT. I FOUND THE EXACT CHAIR THAT I WANTED TO PURCHASE AT THE ECONOMAX STORE ON COTE VERTUE.
THE SALES PERSON WAS VERY GOOD AND I EXPLAINED THAT I LIVED 8 HOURS AWAY AND I DID NOT WANT TO WAIT FOR THE CHAIR, I WANTED MY AUNT TO HAVE HER CHAIR IMMEDIATLY. AFTER SOME INVESTIGATION ON THE PART OF THE SALESPERSON HE REASURED ME THAT THE CHAIR WAS AVAILABLE AT THE WAREHOUSE. HE SPOKE TO HIS DIRECTOR TO COMFIRM THAT THE CHAIR WAS THERE AND HAD MY NAME ON IT. I ASKED MY SALESPERSON TO MAKE CERTAIN THAT THE CHAIR WAS AVAILABLE AS THE DRIVE TO THE WAREHOUSE WAS OVER 1/2 HOUR AWAY.
HE AGAIN WENT TO SEE THE DIRECTOR WHO REASURED HIM THAT HE HAD CALLED AND THAT THE CHAIR WAS THERE.
I DROVE TO THE WAREHOUSE ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT THERE WAS NO CHAIR AVAILABLE FOR ME. I TOLD THE RECEPTIONIST THAT I WAS TOLD THAT THE DIRECTOR HAD CALLED TO VERIFY THE AVAILABILTY AND I WAS THEN TOLD, YES HE DID CALL AFTER YOU LEFT THE STORE.
THE DIRECTOR DID NOT HAVE THE COURTESY TO CALL ME AND LET ME KNOW THAT HE WAS SORRY HE HAD MADE A MISTAKE AND THAT A CHAIR WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
I HAVE CALLED THE STORE NUMEROUS TIMES, HAVE LEFT MESSAGES AND NO ONE HAS CALLED ME BACK.
I DID GET MY REFUND FROM THE WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY OR IT'S AFFILIATE.
